NAPOLI, ASSAULT ON ICARDI: THE DETAILS, PLAYER HEADING TOWARDS AGREEMENT
13:15 CET – Napoli has chosen Mauro Icardi as the successor to Higuain. As calciomercato.com has already stated, a meeting has taken place between Napoli patron De Laurentiis, Sporting Director Giuntoli and representatives of the player. His wife and agent Wand Nara, has been in touch via video conferencing from Milan. The meeting ended a short while ago and Napoli has offered the player a contract worth between €5-5.5 million plus bonuses related to the number of goals scored in Serie A and the Champions League and if he becomes top goalscorer next season. The club are also willing to split his image rights 50/50 with De Laurentiis paying Icardi €5/6 million meaning a toal engagement of around €10 million per season. In the contract will be a buy-out clause of €90 million and Napoli, through an intermediary; have presented a revised offer of €40-42 million which will more than likely be raised as the nerazzurri are looking for a fee in the region of €60 million.
12.30 CET - Napoli wants Mauro Icardi. Sky Sport is reporting that a meeting is currently taking place in Verona between Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, Sporting Director Christian Giuntoli and representatives of the player including his wife and agent Wanda Nara.

WANDA CONFIRMS
The wife and agent of Mauro Icardi has confirmed that a meeting is taking place. Wanda Nara announced on twitter that she would be present via video conferencing from Milan.
