Nainggolan hypes up Strootman, Paredes following Liverpool win
There is good reason to believe he'll be in the mix, and team-mate Radja Nainggolan has waxed lyrical about his team-mate, who played 75 minutes yesterday as Roma defeated Liverpool 2-1 in a US friendly. Leandro Paredes, who has returned from his loan spell to Empoli, also made an appearance.
“I'm happy that Strootman is back to playing, he's looking good to me," Nainggolan told assembled media in his latest press conference stint, "his confidence will return once he plays [competitively]. His qualities are indisputable.
“Paredes did very well last year, he's a different player... but playing in the league is a different kettle of fish”.
The Giallorossi are set to play in the final round of Champions League qualifying, and Nainggolan issued a rallying call to the fans.
“We're preparing, we can improve and be ready for the qualifying round”.
