Moussa Dembélé destined to leave Celtic, claims Rodgers
According to reports in England, the U-21 France International is being scouted by Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Bayern Munich and the Red Devils are reportedly willing to make an official bid for the former Fulham starlet in the January transfer window.
Talking to media on Friday ahead of tomorrow’s Scottish Premier League clash to Kilmarnock, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said: “Both him [Dembélé] and his agent are only focused on the player’s growth.”
“I am sure he could leave the club one day, but it’s not going to happen in the near future. The club is not considering Dembélé’s sale at the moment.”
Dembélé has scored two of his 16 season goals against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in Champions League, whilst he is the first player to have scored an Old Firm hat-trick since 1966.
