Moratti 'We need a left side defender. Balotelli? We are waiting for news...'
Massimo Moratti told 7Gold: "Are the fans worried about Milito and Maicon? I'm worried too. I am sorry that someone may leave as we are grateful to all of them".
Inter president confirmed the need for a defender: "There is no doubt, we need a left side defender, although Chivu played really well. It won't be easy, but we are looking for him and if both financial and sporting conditions will be met, we'll acquire him".
On the recent new limitation on the number of non-EU players in the Italian championship, Moratti is firm: "It is absurd that it came out so quickly to make someone happy, to show that they are doing something. Something better could be done, allowing all sectors to give their contribution".
On Diego Milito, who sat on the bench in the World Cup: "I don't want to criticise now that Argentina lost, but some of our players could have been a great advantage for Maradona"
"Balotelli has just passed his A-level and there are good universities here in Milan, I think it would be good if he could study here..., however, I also leave open other possibility which can contribute to his growth. The market could bring some news, but I hope he will stay."
