AC Milan: duel with Inter for Cerci. Juve: offer for Ibarbo
As well as many other Italian top clubs, AC Milan are working to reinforce their team's flank, and, as reported by Tuttosport, are in competition with city rivals Inter in the hunt for Torino 27-year-old winger Alessio Cerci: to obtain the Italy international, the nerazzurri are ready to offer 24-year-old attacking midfielder Ruben Botta plus cash to the granata; the Lombard club is also seeking a more defensive player, and, as outlined by calciomercato.com, its main target remains Newcastle 22-year-old Davide Santon, while a more affordable option is Valencia 26-year-old Aly Cissokho, last season on loan at Liverpool -who could be involved in the negotiation for the transfer on permanent basis of 29-year old Adil Rami; moreover, Milan are also observing two Udinese players, 23-year-old Gabriel Silva and 27-year-old Pablo Armero. The rossoneri must in any case sell some of their players before working on the new signings, and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are ready to swoop on 29-year-old Michael Agazzi, who has just joined from Chievo, while -as reported by the same media- 23-year-old attacking midfielder Riccardo Saponara could be loaned to his former club Empoli. Also Juventus are seeking a new winger, and, as reported by Tuttosport, are ready to offer 10 million euros plus 21-year-old goalkeeper Nicola Leali to Cagliari to obtain the Colombia international, while, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the bianconeri's offer is 12 millions plus the young goalie.
