    Montella and Lapadula delighted with AC Milan win over Palermo

    Vincezo Montella and Gianluca Lapadula talked to media on Sunday evening to share their thoughts on AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Palermo. The rossoneri win allows them to keep move second in the Serie A table, three points above Atalanta and Lazio, four above Napoli, though third placed Roma have one match in hand.

    “I am happy for the win and for Lapaudula’s goal. He is a very determined footballer, he still has room for improvement. We have two more points today thanks to his goal.”

    “We started well, with a good ball possession, but then we slowed down a bit. I am happy with the team’s reaction after the equalizer of Palermo, our win is deserved.”

    Lapadula scored his first Serie A goal, a decisive one for AC Milan’s European ambitions.

    “My first Serie A goal is a dream come true, but I am 26 already, which means that there is plenty of work still to be done. We want to be more consistent and bring Milan back to Europe, I hope I can play an important role for Milan.”
