Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been speaking to rs.n1info.com about his time in the Italian capital so far. He began by explaining that; “The championship has only just begun so we must not make calculations now, there are still many games to play. You always have to try to win and now we look forward to Sunday”.
Asked if he was satisfied with his 18 months at the club he replied; “At the beginning it was very difficult having to adapt to a new culture but I did so quickly and now I’m happy”. He was then asked about derby day in the city and the atmosphere surrounding the game against Roma, he explained that; “You cannot describe it to someone who has never been to the game. The city comes alive on that day and words cannot describe how amazing it is”.
Finally, he was asked if the club were missing Antonio Candreva who departed for Inter in the summer; “It has not been so difficult without him. We have many players who are adept at playing in that role. When he left we just continued to look forward and tried to workout who could take his place”.
