Milan: waiting for Ibra. Juve: Siqueira always closer
After signing 20-year-old center back Alessio Romagnoli –arrived from AS Roma for 25 million euros- AC Milan’s transfer market campaign can be considered almost over; but the rossoneri keep on observing the situation of their former player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has one more year on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain; in the last days, both clubs’ executives have seemed quite pessimistic about the possibility for the Swedish striker to move back to “San Siro”, but, on the other hand, Mino Raiola, agent of the 33-year-old, has revealed that his client has refused an offer from Galatasaray: as outlined by the Corriere della Sera, the player’s family would not agree to a transfer to Turkey, while, on the contrary, would like to rejoin Milan: for this reason, the Lombardian club hopes that “Ibra” will seek a rupture with the Ligue 1 defending champions, and will wait for him until the last day of the current transfer window. Finally, regarding the possible departures, Malaga –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- are interested in 21-year-old attacking midfielder Jesús Fernández Sáez, aka Suso, while Eibar are keen on 23-year-old forward Simone Verdi. Serie A defending champions Juventus keep on seeking a new left back, and their main target for such position remains Atletico Madrid 29-year-old Guilherme Siqueira: the bianconeri already have an agreement with the Spanish club, while the former Benfica player is also tempted by Paris Saint-Germain, but, according to Sky Sport, the Brazilian is about to accept the Piedmont’s club’s offer.
