Milan star is set to return as he trained with his teammates

After three weeks on the sidelines (and having missed the games versus Empoli,Crotone and Roma), Carlos Bacca has returned to training with the group. He had picked up a muscular problem during the derby versus Inter but he now seems to have fully recuperated and should be available for Milan's upcoming game versus Atalanta. Montella won't likely risk him from the start but he should come on as a substitute. Montella's real objective is to have Bacca fully healthy and fit for the game against Juventus on December 23rd in Doha (Italian Supercup).

Milan haven't won an official trophy since 2011 so this would be a good opportunity for them to win a cup and they are hoping that Bacca's finishing abilities will be the difference in that game. His return in also important for Milan's January transfer market plans as they might now receive more offers for him. Since the closing did not occur yet, Milan will have to first sell before they can then buy. Considering the fact that they are currently in third place (in the Serie A standings), Galliani and company will try to strengthen the roster.
