Milan: Soriano is waiting. Juve: sprint for Witsel

25-year-old forward Mario Balotelli has undegone the medicals for AC Milan and had the first training with the rossoneri’s coach Sinisa Mihajlovic: as outlined by Tuttosport, now the Lombardian club is preparing a special clause to avoid the Italy international’s typical attitudes and obtain the best from his performances. Milan can now focus on signing a new midfielder, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Sampdoria 24-year-old Roberto Soriano: as explained by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, the Mihajlovic are constantly in talks with his former player, while the rossoneri keep on negotiating with the Liguria’s club; this latter considers too low the rossoneri’s offer (the ownership of 30-year-old Antonio Nocerino and 10 million euros plus bonuses ), and is quite worried about Nocerino’s salary. The Lombardian club needs in any case to sell some of its current club’s players, and Atalanta seem to be interested in both 31-year-old forward Alessandro Matri and 29-year-old center back Gabriel Paletta: the orobici’s Technical Director Giovanni Sartori has denied to be interested in Matri, while, as reported by calciomercato.com, the nerazzurri –despite the signing of Rafael Toloi- remain attentive to the situation of the Argentine-born Italian player.
Also Serie A defending champions Juventus are seeking a new midfielder, and, as well as the rossoneri themselves, are keen on Zenit St. Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel: as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the bianconeri are ready to make a decisive attempt for the Belgium international, for whom the Russian club requires now 25 million euros.
