Despite recent reports by Bloomberg and Chinese weekly Caixin stating that the purchase of Milan had run into problems, it seems that the deal should be concluded in the next month and a half. As Sky Sports revealed about 10 days ago, a delegation headed by Han Li, the right arm of Li Yonghong, travelled to the city for a series of meeting related to the deal.
 

The group landed at the city’s Malpensa airport last Thursday and held a series of meetings with club representatives including Marco Fassone, the man who is set to become the new CEO. Financial matters were also discussed at the headquarters of Fininvest, with banks and advisors responsible for transferring the money between China and Italy.  

The date has not been set for the official hand over, but it is scheduled to take place sometime between 5 November and 5 December. The objective remains to have the official announcement take place on November 20, the day of the derby against Inter.
