Milan's CEO Galliani: 'López must respect Sinisa's decisions'

As reported earlier today, AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez could decide to leave in January after being replaced today by the 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma. After the game won against Sassuolo, the Spaniard stated: “I want to play always, as everybody. They have talked too much about me this week. Milan’s situation doesn’t depend from the goalkeeper. Donnarumma a starter? I am calm. I have always done my best. I have played almost 40 games for Milan, nobody can say that I damaged the club, talking about a transfer is nonsense. Mihajlovic’s choice? I don’t want to say anything, I respect the coach. Later, the rossoneri’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani added: “The goalie is a player like the others. We have three goalkeepers, and I believe that the coach has the right and the duty to choose who is going to play. We are confident in Diego Lopez, I understand that he’s upset but he must respect the coach’s choices”.
