Inter: plan for Perišić. AC Milan: back for Witsel
As reported yesterday, after signing 30-year-old center back Joao Miranda and 22-year-old midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, Inter Milan are now seeking a new winger, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Chelsea 23-year-old Mohamed Salah, until now on loan at Fiorentina; according to the Corriere dello Sport, the nerazzurri have already contacted the English club, but, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues would like the Egypt international to remain in Florence at least for another year, unless somebody will offer them 25 million euros cash; according to the same media, the main alternative to the former FC Basel is Wolfsburg 26-year-old Ivan Perišić, whom the Lombardian club would like to obtain on loan with obligation to buy. Still regarding their team’s flank, Inter are also seeking a more defensive player, and, still according to the “Gazzetta”, are thinking about Chelsea 29-year-old Filipe Luis and Barcelona 24-year-old Martin Montoya. Finally, Abdelkader Jilani, agent of Monaco 25-year-old Aymen Abdennour, has told Footmercato that both the nerazzurri and their city rivals AC Milan are ready to make an offer for his client. The two Lombardian clubs have also been in competition in the hunt for Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula, but Inter have finally renounced to the 22-year-old, who could now move to England; the rossoneri keep on the contrary on tracking Zenit St. Petersburg 27-year-old Axel Witsel.
