Milan: meeting for Baselli. Juve: De Bruyne won't join
As reported earlier today, AC Milan are seeking a high-skilled forward, but the rossoneri are working to reinforce their team also for what concerns other positions: last night the Lombardian club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has announced that Bertolacci could not be the only signing regarding the midfield; moreover, as outlined by calciomercato.com, considering the imminent departure of 30-year-old Sulley Muntary and the high possibility for same-aged Antonio Nocerino to quit “San Siro”, two more midfielders could finally join: Zenit St.Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel –despite the Russian club’s requests- remains a concrete option, as well as Atalanta 23-year-old Daniele Baselli: as reported by Sportmediaset, a meeting between the two clubs is expected in the next hours. Milan are also seeking a defender, as 34-year-old Daniele Bonera –whose contract is about to expire- won’t extend his deal and 29-year-old Adil Rami is about to join Sevilla FC: the main options remain Borussia Dortmund 27-year-old Mats Hummels, AS Roma 20-year-old Alessio Romagnoli, last season on loan at Sampdoria and valued about 30 million euros by his current club, and, as outlined by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Espanyol 27-year-old Héctor Moreno. Also Serie A defending champions Juventus are seeking a skilled offensive player, and, as well known, one of their targets is Wolfsburg 23-year-old attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne: interviewed by Sport 1, the German club’s Sporting Director Klaus Allofs has declared that the Belgian player will have to honor his contract.
