Milan line up Giampaolo to replace Brocchi
One thing, however, is almost definite: if he fails to win the Coppa Italia final, Rossoneri Coach Christian Brocchi will get the chop.
With Vincenzo Montella more interested in coaching La Nazionale, the Diavolo has already lined up Brocchi's replacement: Marco Giampaolo, who has often manifested his big-club ambitions after doing very well with Empoli.
This report comes from the Corriere della Sera, who claim that a two-year, 4 million contract (plus bonuses) is being prepared for him.
Sponsored by Arrigo Sacchi - who once offered Giampaolo the Azzurri Under-21 team - Sarri has led Empoli to just three wins in 20 games this year, leading some to wonder whether he simply picked up where predecessor Maurizio Sarri left off.
