Milan in for Eriksen. Matri to Russia?
The agent of Ajax starlet Christian Eriksen revealed that joining Milan would be an interesting option for the Danish midfielder.
“Milan are an interesting option, certainly a road we can follow,” said agent Martin Schoots.
“Christian has always done well in his career and this season we even turned down an offer from Manchester City.
“I don’t know if he is ready for such a prestigious club but he has the quality to do well in every league. It is early to talk about the transfer market though, Ajax have good chances to win the title and I don’t want to put pressure on the boy.”
Eriksen grew up in Ajax’s youth team and made his first team debut in 2010. In the same year, he took part to the South Africa World Cup.
The Dane has been compared to Sneijder and Van der Vaart. His price tag could be as high as €15M.
- Matri to Russia?
Juventus striker Alessandro Matri just recently extended his deal with the Bianconeri until June 2017.
However, according to reports, Luciano Spalletti is determined to take the Italian forward to Russia.
Zenit St. Petersburg may offer €18M for the services of the Bianconeri ace.
Matri is currently Juve’s top-scorer having netted 10 goals since the start of the season. However, he has been excluded from the Bianconeri starting line-up in the last five games.
It seems clear that Antonio Conte doesn’t consider him an automatic starter and considering that in the summer Juve will be looking for a world-class forward, director Beppe Marotta could do with the extra cash coming from the departure of Matri.
