Montella's doubts ahead of Chievo-Milan. Return dates of Mati Fernandez and Bertolacci unknown
The first concerns the regista role. Our reporter in Milanello Daniele Longo reports that Manuel Locatelli and Jose Sosa are in competition for the spot in front of defence and Montella will only take a decision tomorrow.
As of today, they have 50% chance each to start tomorrow’s Chievo clash.
Montella is still short of options in midfield as return dates of both Mati Fernandez and Andrea Bertolacci remain unknown.
Both players have yet to register their first appearance with AC Milan this season.
The aeroplanino is also still undecided about who to start up front with Carlos Bacca who is the favourite to be picked as the sole striker against Chievo despite a long trip to return from South America where he played two games with Colombia national team during the International break.
Former Pescara hit-man Gianluca Lapadula would start in place of Bacca if the Colombian’s not fit tomorrow.
