Milan, Chelsea want De Sciglio, a possible exchange with Fabregas?

Chelsea are looking for defensive reinforcements and it seems manager Antonio Conte may even be prepared to offer one of his current first-team squad in order to get the right man.

The English media look to have backed up the claims made by Calciomercatoweb on Monday that the Italian tactician is looking to bring his fellow countryman, full-back Mattia De Sciglio to Stamford Bridge in exchange for unsettled Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The portal claims that the Premier League club are not interested in sending the 29-year-old out on-loan and that if anyone wants him, they will have to take him on a permanent deal. Milan will shortly fall into the hands of a new Chinese consortium, who it’s claimed, are prepared to put €100 million into the club’s transfer kitty. Chelsea however, may use their interest in De Sciglio to speed up the departure of the Spanish international who has long been admired by the Italian giants.
