Milan: back for Witsel. Juve: idea Benatia

During the last transfer window, there have been some rumors regarding the possibility for 28-year-old center back Mehdi Benatia to quit Bayern Munich: the Morocco international is considered a starter by his current team’s coach Pep Guardiola, and he knows that he’s playing for one of the best clubs in the world, but, as outlined by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, he still misses Italy; last Summer, Inter Milan’s executives have met their German counterparts and the agents of the former AS Roma player, but they couldn’t sign this latter because of the high cost of his transfer fee; some rumors reported that Benatia has offered himself to the giallorossi, but he could be an option also for Juventus, who will try to reinforce their defense at the end of the current season; another target for the bianconeri –as reported by Fichajes.com- could be River Plate 22-year-old Alvarez Balanta, evaluated about 5 million euros by the Argentine club. In the mid time, the Serie A defending champions have carried out the negotiation for a young talent, 14-year-old forward Ibrahima Diallo, arriving from Giorgione.
AC Milan have failed in signing Zenit St. Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel during the last transfer window: as reported by the rossoneri, in January the rossoneri will swoop again on the Belgium international, but only if they will be able to sell some of their current players.
