Milan: back for Soriano. Juve: agreement for Siqueira
Juventus –also considering the injury suffered by 34-year-old Andrea Barzagli- are seeking a new center back, and, as reported in the last days, are thinking about Bayern Munich 28-year-old Mehdi Benatia: interviewed by Sky Sport News HD, the Morocco international has declared that he doesn’t know anything about the bianconeri’s interest, that he enjoyed playing in Italy but that at the moment he’s happy with his current team.; on the other hand, Reza Fazeli, agent of 31-year-old Heiko Westermann, currently without a contract, has confirmed to the Hamburger Abendblatt to be in talks with the Serie A defending champions. The Piedmont’s club is also seeking a left back, and, as reported by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, it has found an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the signing of 28-year-old Guilherme Siqueira; also this latter is ready to join Juve, but has also an offer from Paris Saint-Germain. The bianconeri also need to replace their midfielder Sami Khedira, who –because of a muscular injury- will have to remain out of the pitch for at least two months: as reported by the same media, the Serie A defending champions have asked Wolfsburg for 28-year-old Luiz Gustavo, but the German club has refused. Also AC Milan are seeking a midfielder, and are ready to swoop again on Zenit St. Petersburg 27-year-old Axel Witsel: the Belgium international has once again expressed his will to leave the Russian club, but the rossoneri will have to make an important offer; the main alternative to the former Benfica player remains Sampdoria 24-year-old Roberto Soriano.
