AC Milan keep on seeking a new midfielder, but their task doesn’t seem easy at all: interviewed by calciomercato.com, the agent of Parma 18-year-old Josè Mauri has confirmed that the rossoneri –as well as Juventus, AS Roma and Fiorentina- are interested in his client, who is also a target for some English and German clubs; on the other hand, there is nothing going on with Inter Milan, while it is not yet certain if the player will be able to terminate his contract with his current club; another target for the rossoneri’s midfield is Empoli 28-year-old Mirko Valdifiori, and, interviewed by Radio Crc, the Tuscan club’s Director of Football Marcello Carli has confirmed that there are some negotiation with Napoli, and that the player will almost certainly leave at the end of the season. Moreover, the future of the Lombard team’s coach Filippo Inzaghi remains uncertain, so Milan keep on seeking the heir of the 41-year-old: as reported last night, the rossoneri are thinking about Carlo Ancelotti, currently at Real Madrid, and such option is confirmed by Tuttosport, while, according to the Daily Express, the Italian could replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City: during today’s press conference, the Spanish club’s president Florentino Perez has assured that the 55-year-old will remain at the Casa blanca.
Serie A defending champions Juventus keep on working to reinforce their offensive line, but, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, will have to renounce to Borussia Dortmund 26-year-old attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan; on the contrary, according to La Stampa, the bianconeri are trying to speed-up the negotiation for Palermo 21-year-old forward Paulo Dybala.
