Sinisa Mihajlovic could not hide his frustration at Milan's inability to beat Atalanta in Saturday night's Matchday 12 clash with Atalanta at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Speaking to the media after the 0-0 draw, the Serbian coach explained his angry behaviour on the sidelines, even going so far as to kick a bottle when things didn't go Milan's way.

"I was wrong to kick that bottle, I was angry not with the referees but with my players.

"I wasn't in the dressing room when the game ended, Berlusconi went down, I don't know what he said.

"Our objective remains to qualify to the Champions League".

The Serbian coach then revealed that some of his picks weren't in peak form.

"This is still a point earned, but we weren't the same team that we were in Rome. I'm not looking for excuses, but the absences of Bertolacci, Bonaventura and Alex made themselves felt.

"Those who replace them did well for their physical condition: Niang, Poli and Mexes hadn't played 90 minutes in a while, and we were only able to count on Montolivo and Cerci at the last minute.

"We tried to win by taking some risks. When you can't win, not losing is key. A good takeaway is that we didn't concede, Donnarumma is there to make saves".
