Mesut Ozil pens new Arsenal deal and gets n.10 shirt
German media confirms that an agreement between the two parties has been found, adding that the former Real Madrid attacking midfielder will also wear the number 10 jersey in the 2017-18 camapaign.
That jersey was previously belonging to Jack Wilshere but the Englishman completed a loan move to Bournemouth last summer, leaving Arsenal’s number 10 jersey with no owner.
Ozil moved to Arsenal in 2013 competing a € 47 million switch from Real Madrid. The 27-year-old has 43 assists and 22 goals with Arsenal in 123 appearances in all competitions.
