Meeting between Napoli and Giaccherini’s agent: the details
Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has met the player’s agent Furio Valcareggi to make his move for the 31-year-old midfielder.
The two parties hope to find agreement before beginning transfer talks with Sunderland. The Premier League club are believed to be open to sell the player who featured among the best midfielders in Serie A last term.
Giaccherini can play as halfback or winger and his arrival could force Napoli to drop Roberto Pereyra who has already agreed to move to the San Paolo.
