Inter: last call for Mazzarri. Juve: Shaqiri farther
After the game lost to Parma, the situation of Inter Milan’s head coach Walter Mazzarri remains uncertain, despite the declarations released by the Lombard club’s executives: as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the nerazzurri’s president Erick Thohir will wait for the next two games, and if the performances and the results won’t improve, he will evaluate the possibility to fire the 53-year-old; in any case, it seems difficult that his later will remain until the end of his contract –in June 2016- and the main candidate for his replacement remains 45-year-old Sinisa Mihajlovic, currently at Sampdoria. In the mid time, Inter are working to reinforce their team during the next transfer window, and, as reported yesterday, seem to have a concrete chance to sign 22-year-old Fabian Schar, whose contract with FC Basel will expire at the end of the current season; according to Blick, the Switzerland international has already decided to join Arsenal. The Lombard club and the Gunners are in competition also in the hunt for Sporting CP 23-year-old full back Cedric Soares, who, as reported by the Portuguese club, is also tracked by Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04. Also Serie A defending champions Juventus will have to compete with an English club to obtain one of their targets: according to the British medias, in fact, Tottenham are keen on Bayern Munich 23-year-old winger Xherdan Shaqiri.
