    Mauro Zarate set for Fiorentina medical as Giuseppe Rossi edges closer to Franchi exit

    Mauro Zarate to Fiorentina can be considered a done deal. The former Lazio star will land in Florence today, where he will undergo medical with the Tuscan side ahead of competing his € 2.1 million permanent transfer from West Ham, where he scored five goals in all competitions this term.

    The Argentinean will replace Giuseppe Rossi, who’s set to join La Liga strugglers Levante on loan until the end of the season, before joining his former club Villareal from the 2016-2017 campaign.
