Marotta: ‘Matuidi not on sale, Juve looking for the cherry on the cake’
Marotta was obviously asked several questions about Juventus’ transfer campaign.
“We’ve asked information about Matuidi, but PSG have replied that he’s not on sale. It can happen, I think there won’t be further negotiations for the Frenchman.”
“We’ve made a very nice cake, now we are looking to put a cherry on top of it. We need payers who can improve our level, we are not going to sign whatever player.”
Newcomers Higuain and Pjanic have started the Lazio game from the bench and Marotta was also asked a comment on Allegri’s decisions.
“We have to respect the manager’s choices, they are new players and they still need time to settle in well. Even Dybala took a couple of months before becoming a regular starter. Season will be very long and Allegri’s choices are logical. Winning all games is all that matters.”
