    Marca: Fiorentina scout Sporting Gijon centre-back Jorge Meré

    Fiorentina have sent scouts to watch Sporting Gijon’s centre-back Jorge Meré during his side’s 2-1 defeat against Sevilla on Wednesday, Marca has reported.

    The 19-year-old centre back has been playing on a regular basis for La Liga side this season, so much s he has racked up 23 appearances in all competitions. His price-tag is believed to be in the region of  € 2 million.
