Diego Maradona want to celebrate his 50th birthday with a match at S.Paolo in Naples. Salvatore Bagni, his close friend, is already working to organise the event, whilst many teammates of the "Pibe de Oro", such as Careca and Giordano, are ready to attend.

Eraldo Pecci told, who played with Maradona in the season 1985-86, told calciomercato.com:  "It's a great idea. Napoli was the place where Diego was happiest and it's a good idea to celebrate with his fans. In Naples, after S.Gennaro, there is  Maradona".

Then Pecci added: "Would I like to be there? Well, being on the pitch would be difficult... but we'll see".

"If I am not invited? I'll get in my car and I'll go to Naples anyway".
