Mancini to Shanghai Greenland: manager denies rumours
The Italian manager was sacked by Inter in August and had been linked with replacing Sam Allardyce as England National team boss, though Gareth Southgate is now believed to have persuaded the FA to give him the England job.
Talking to Italian media, Mancini said: “No thanks, I am not planning to go to China. My main target is to coach in Europe.”
Mancini’s last spell at Inter was his only one without a trophy. The Italian tactician has won one Premier League title, one FA Cup and one Charity Shiled with Manchester City, three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and two Italian Supercups with Inter, one Coppa Italia with Fiorentina and Lazio and one Turkish cup with Galatasaray.
