Pep Guardiola continues to cull his Manchester City squad; having sent Joe Hart off on-loan to Torino, his latest victim is Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure, who has been excluded from this season’s Champions League squad.
 

This absence leaves everyone (including the player himself) that his future lays away from the Etihad Stadium. With a contract that expires in June 2017 and with a relationship with the Catalan tactician that has always been fiery since their time together at Barcelona, the 33-year-old will have plenty of time to consider his future.
