Man United, Liverpool target Belotti signs new deal, release clause worth €90m

Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United are set to be dealt a huge blow.

Common target Andrea Belotti of Torino is set to sign a new deal with the Serie A side, one that will ramp up his release clause to a massive €90 million (around £80m).

The three sides have followed the Granata striker for a while, ever since he went on a major scoring streak last season, keeping up during the current campaign.

Aged only 22, the former Palermo sub has netted 21 Serie A goals since January, ten of which coming this season.

His previous release clause would have left him costing something in the region of £34m.

Numerous sources (goal.com) have confirmed that Belotti and Torino have reached an agreement on a contract that will run until 2021, worth €1.5m a year, plus bonuses. This is almost double the €800k he earned last year.

Will the Premier League still be willing to invest big on Belotti, who recently earned his first Italy cap against France in September, and has since netted three times in five games.
