Maldini: ‘Milan don’t want me’
Paolo Maldini underlined his disappointment with Milan which are not allowing him to get back in the club. And the Rossoneri could opt to join Paris Saint-Germain as he hopes to start a new career as a director.
“At the moment there is nothing with PSG but I met up with good friends in Paris,” explained Maldini.
“So far I have had no real offer from Milan. Leonardo and Massimiliano Allegri wanted me back but from the club there was always a closed door.
“I have no other interest than the best for Milan but maybe this is a problem for some. I have a lot of respect for Adriano Galliani and no problem to work with him. But perhaps he doesn’t feel the same way,” added the former Milan left-back.
“I don’t pretend to teach the job to those who have been doing it for over 20 years winning everything. I am up for a new challenge and learn new things.
“It hurts me to see how Juventus dealt with Alessandro Del Piero…” concluded Maldini.
