Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been sent home from the clubs US tour for unacceptable behaviour. French sports daily L’Equipe claims that the German tactician has taken the decision after a series of events concerning the 26-year-old Frenchman. One incident in particular, when the squad visited the Alcatraz penitentiary, is believed to have been the final straw for Klopp who took the decision to send the player back to England.

THE CLUB

Liverpool has not confirmed if an Achilles injury, from which the player is currently suffering, has been taken into account. The events in the States could now hasten the player's departure from Anfield.
