LIVE Pjanic undergoes Juve medical, Vucinic: 'they have a unique, winning mentality'
The Bosnian midfielder has made his way to the Jmedical to undergo his Juventus Medical before signing a five-year deal worth €4.5 million a season.
Juventus have also confirmed officially that it's the “first time that a player undergoes a medical before joining the club”. The others would have been tested before negotiations had come to a close.
Here is footage of the former Roma midfielder's arrival.
Meanwhile, local paper Tuttosport has former Juventino Mirko Vucinic say that “nothing surprises me anymore in the world of football. Juventus keep strengthening their squad. Pjanic is an important player, a champion who will make a difference, and who doesn't need my advice”.
Having also left Roma to join the Bianconeri, Vucinic said that “I thought about it long, I had some great times as a Giallorosso, but I didn't regret my decision. I was very happy in Turin and I won a lot”.
Here's an interesting tidbit:
“There's more pressure in Rome, and that ends of having an impact”.
“When you enter the dressing room you immediately notice a different, unique, winning mentality. If you equalise at the death you don't find anyone who is in a good mood, or wants to crack a joke. People are angry, they want to win”.
“Juventus are very strong, but Roma will fight for the title, things have already improved under Spalletti, he's a guarantee as a coach. It looks like, tactically, he now has more variety, more aces up his sleeve”.
