LIVE MATCHDAY 16 Milan - Verona: Lineups, stats and facts

Milan face strugglers Verona hoping to put last weekend's drab draw against Carpi behind them.

Cosntantly under pressure from owner Silvio BErlusconi, Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has hinted that he isn't happy at his president giving his players tactical advice. It's hard to fault him, with many Milan fans unconvinced by the quality of the squad, not to mention the completely coincidental* return to a 4-4-2 with Luiz Adriano up front.

Anyway, it's hard to point the finger at the former Sampdoria manager: 4 wins, 3 draws and a lone defaet in 7 Serie A games isn't a bad return, and the defeat came against Juventus. As we anticipated, Nigel de Jong and Mattia de Sciglio will line up.

Know who is terrible? Verona! The arrival of Gigi Delneri has to galvanise a side that was decent last season, and that has suddenly discovered that bringing Luca Toni back is nowhere near enough to solve its defensive, goalscoring and passing issues.

For Milan, though Andrea Bertolacci makes it back to the bench, Mario Balotelli is still struggling, the Milan Lab not wanting to risk him for this one.

*Does Silvio Berlusconi like two up front? Is the Pope Catholic? You tell us friends!
