Lippi in China! Bastos right for Napoli. Cavenaghi in Viola
Marcello Lippi will coach in China. The former Italy boss has agreed a deal with Guangzhou Evergrande, Calciomercato.com reports.
Lippi has been out of job since 2010 following Italy’s disappointing campaign in South Africa.
The Chinese outfit is one of the wealthiest in the world and just recently signed Dario Conca from Fluminense for €26M per three seasons.
- Bastos right for Napoli
Michel Bastos could join Napoli in the summer. The Brazilian wing-back would be the perfect addition to the Azzurri squad as confirmed by CM.com journalist Luca Talotta.
“Bastos would be an excellent signing, last year there were negotiations with Juventus but the deal fell through,” explained Talotta on Radio Crc.
“The player doesn’t have the faith of Lyon and will certainly leave in the summer. I believe Bastos would be perfect for Napoli but there are many clubs after him.”
“Christian Chivu will leave Inter and Napoli are also interested in him. The Azzurri could offer the Romanian defender a two-year deal.”
- Cavenaghi in Viola
Fernando Cavenaghi could return to Europe after his mission in Argentina to take River Plate back to the first division will be completed.
The striker has been linked to Fiorentina despite having a contract until 2015 with Los Millionarios.
Cavenaghi holds an Italian passport thus his move to Fiorentina would certainly be easier.
