Lichtsteiner tops Barcelona’s RB shortlist
The ‘Swiss Train’ is struggling with game time since the beginning of the 2016-17 campaign, as Max Allegri usually starts either Dani Alves or Juan Cuadrado over him.
Lichtsteiner, 32, has not been included in Juventus’ Champions League squad list and has only played 572 minutes in Serie A so far this season, scoring two goals and registering as much assists.
Barcelona are looking are still looking for a replacement for Dani Alves as Luis Enrique has been adapting Sergi Roberto as right-back since the beginning of the season and the Spanish boss prefers signing Lichtsteiner over Matteo Darmain and Darijo Srna who are also being monitored by the Nou Camp outfit.
Lichtsteiner’s Juventus contract expires in June 2017, but the Old Lady can exercise a clause to extend the player’s stay for one more season without the player’s agreement.
