    Lewandowski to become Bayern Munich’s highest paid player after contract extension

    According to today’s edition of Bild, Robert Lewandowsi is set to sign a contract extension with Bayern Munich.

    Lewandowski, 28, completed a free transfer move from Dorussia Dortmund in 2014 and has scored 76 goals in 106 games with Bayern Munich since then.

    The Poland International has nine goals in six appearances this season and the Bavarians willing to extend his contract expiring in 2019.

    ​Lewandowski will become Bayern Munich’s highest paid player leapfrogging Thomas Muller who is currently earning € 13.5 million a year at the Allianz Arena.
