Lazio's Dressing Room has gone full Fight Club
This morning's papers have some alarming reports for Lazio fans.
Though they have yet to be confirmed, we're hearing about a six-man brawl at the Formello training complex before last night's Galatasaray tie.
It's the third such report in the last ten days, with Antonio Candreva being at the centre of the other two. Rumours have Director of Sport Igli Tare grabbing the Italy international by the beck, accusing him of being too selfish.
Miroslav Klose is also said to have gotten in on the act, yelling at Candreva for being too self-centred on another occasion.
Dressing room tensions would certainly explain why this talented team isn't performing up to expectations.
Owner Claudio Lotito hasn't exactly tried very hard to ingratiate himself with his players, with his reputation for tough negotiating tactics (sitting Goran Pandev and Hernanes during contract disputer) and for calling them out (“Show some balls!”) when things were going wrong earlier this season.
