Lazio: Premier League side to rescue Morrison from his Italian nightmare

Reports from England claim that Hull City are preparing to release Lazio striker Ravel Morrison from his Lazio nightmare.

According to The Sun, Tigers boss Mike Phelan is preparing a January assault as he looks to keep the club in the Premier League next season. The two men are familiar with each other; Morrison was a youth player at Manchester United when Phelan was on the coaching staff of Sir Alex Ferguson and the journal claims that he’s now prepared to take a gamble on a player who has never fulfilled his huge potential.

Since arriving at Lazio 16 months ago, the 23-year-old has played just eight times for the capital club and a host of disciplinary problems have hampered his progress in the Eternal City. It’s reported that Lazio have given Morrison permission to find another club and despite having a contract until 2019, are prepared to off-load him for around £600,000 pounds.
