With just a few days to go until their season opener against Atalanta, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has still not been gifted a wide-man to replace Antonio Candreva. La Repubblica reports that whilst the biancocelesti wait for a response from Praet, Dirar and Boudebouz, President Claudio Lotito has contacted Alessio Cerci in person to try to convince the former Roma player to switch to the blue half of the city. Only this week, the 29-year-old told Sky Sport that he would “never play for Lazio”. Lotito hopes to be able to change his mind.
