Lazio fear long lay-off for Lucas Biglia, a free agent could replace him
Biglia told medics he was ready to play from the first minute but picked up an injury after just 8 minutes. His agent Enzo Montepaone defended his choice on social media yesterday and has accompanied his client to the clinic today.
Biglia is feared to have picked up a second degree sprain which would keep him out of action for two months at least.
Stefan Radu also had medical tests earlier today.
If Biglia’s long lay-off will be confirmed, the biancocelesti could make an attempt to sign Raul Meireles who is currently without a contract as his deal with Fenerbache expired at the end of last season. Negotiations with the player’s entourage might begin soon.
