Lazio: Elm on the move
AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm is considering his options for the future and could leave the Dutch outfit in the summer.
“There is a strong interest in my client,” agent Patrick Mork told Calciomercato.com.
“There was an Italian club really interested in Rasmus but their offer wasn’t good enough.”
Lazio and Valencia have been linked to the player who has a contract running until June 2013.
“I won’t reveal the name of the Serie A club but we haven’t talked about renewing his contract with AZ which means everything could happen in the summer,” added Mork.
“Rasmus is hoping to make a career leap moving to a bigger tournament and club also considering that he is one of the highest rated players in the Eredivise.
“Before joining AZ, my client turned down two offers from Premier League teams. The club could agree to sell but it must be a good deal for the player too. Still at the moment he is happy at AZ so let’s wait and see…” concluded Mork.
