Lazio back in race for Benfica defender Jardel
According to Roman paper Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio's sporting director has contacted the Portuguese club once again, a consequence of Marcelo Bielsa jilting the club. The Argentine Coach had vetoed Jardel's arrival. Now, however, it appears that the Aquile are back in the race.
Trouble is, the centre-back is valued in the €10-12 million range, a price which hasn't scared off the competition.
