Lazio, an offer from Lyon for Djordjevic
According to Sportssport.ba, Lyon are ready to table a €5 million bid for Lazio striker Filip Djordjevic. The 29-year-old Serbian frontman has found first-team football difficult this season and has fallen down the pecking order under boss Simone Inzaghi.
The arrival in the summer of Ciro Immobile and his blistering start to the new campaign, plus the return to form of Keita Balde has made a January exit from the Italian capital now look likely. Djordjevic arrived in Rome in 2014 from Nantes and if the portal’s information is correct, he could be about to return to Ligue 1 in the new year.
The player is anxious to get back to regular first-team action and his international career has also suffered because of his lack of minutes on the pitch at Lazio. A change of scenery in January may be just what the doctor ordered for a player who looked set to be one of the biggest striking talents in European football only a couple of years ago.
