Latest: Genoa look to steal Serie B playmaker from under Inter, Juve's noses

It looks like Inter and Juventus could have let a big talent slip from their wingers.

A few weeks ago, the name Leonardo Morosini was being linked to the Serie A stalwarts, the Brescia playmaker seen as being contended by the two.

Morosini, 21, banged in 8 Serie B goals last season with the Lombard side, and has added four more in a hot start to the 2016-2016 campaign.

The Nerazzurri have long been linked to him, needing a midfielder who can feed and play with the striker.

FcInterNews.it are writing, however, that Genoa have now slipped in, and lead the race. Previously, Enrico Preziosi’s club had only been linked to Morosini as part of a joint venture with Inter, whereby the 21-year-old would move to the Marassi on loan before definitively moving to Milan.

This comes as a big shock to both Serie A giants, perhaps even more to Inter, seeing as Morosini confessed to the Corriere dello Sport not long ago that he was a childhood Inter fan.
