Salomon Kalou is set to turn down a contract offer from Chelsea in order to join Milan.

The African striker expressed his desire to play in a different position and made that clear during negotiations. However, the Blues are unable to guarantee this switch.

The 26-year-old player will be a free agent in the summer and the Rossoneri have already been in touch with him, according to the Daily Mail.
