Juventus target, Arsenal hopeful Tolisso: 'If I have to leave Lyon, I will. There are bigger clubs'
Corentin Tolisso is attracting interest from all quarters in European football: having been courted by Napoli in summer, the young Frenchman is now the subject of interest from Juventus, who are reported to be preparing an offer for him in January.
Speaking ahead of Lyon’s game today, the 22-year-old seemed to hint that a move was on the cards.
“Juve’s interest? I don’t want to lose my head. If I have to leave on day, I will” Tolisso told LeProgres.fr before tonight's big game between Lyon and PSG.
“If, on the other hand, staying at Lyon is the right thing for my career, then that's what I’ll do,” Tolisso added.
That said, the 23-year-old wasn’t so certain when it was mentioned that French players tend to play overseas in order to get more consideration for a call-up with Les Bleus.
Tolisso’s answer was clear: “Yes, it’s what I told myself this answer, when the chance to move to Napoli presented itself. Now I’m at Lyon, a great club, but there are bigger ones.
“I aspire to a successful career, and playing in a big club”.
