Juventus: it's Ogbonna's day. Inter Milan: sprint for Dragovic
Juventus keep on hoping to sign Fiorentina 23 year old forward Stevan Jovetic, but the Montenegro international seems always more difficult to reach: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in fact, the former Partizan star should move to one between Manchester City and Manchester United, the only clubs that can afford to play the transfer fee required by the viola; Juve remain the player’s favourite destination, but this latter also fears the anger of the Tuscan team’s fans, and could finally accept to move to a foreign club. But, as reported yesterday, at the moment the bianconeri’s priority is the signing of Torino 25 year old center back Angelo Ofbonna: according to Tuttosport, today the Serie A defending champions’ General Manager Giuseppe Marotta will meet the granata’s president Urbano Cairo, who seems to have already accepted the 13 million euros plus bonuses offered by Juve (23 year old striker Ciro Immobile won’t be involved in the negotiation and will remain in co-ownership beteween the two clubs). After signing the Italy international, the Piedmontese club, still according to “La Gazzetta”, will probably swoop on Napoli 27 year old wingback Juan Camilo Zuniga, particularly admired by coach Antonio Conte.
Also Inter Milan are focused on signing a new defender, even because 25 year old Andrea Ranocchia, according to the Corriere dello Sport, is also tracked by city rivals AC Milan and 28 year old Matias Silvestre, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, would like to join Boca Juniors: the nerazzurri’s main target remains FC Basel 22 year old Aleksandar Dragovic, whose future will be decided in the next hours.
